Sustainable Packaging
rPET is an eco-friendly plastic that is created by collecting, sterilizing, and recycling consumer-used PET plastics, such as water bottles.
rPET stands for recycled polyethylene terephthalate and is 100% safe to use for our products. In fact, rPET is FDA approved and widely used to create bottles, packaging for food, and even shoes!
At Tree To Tub, our goal is to use sustainable materials to package all of our products in the near future. And that's why we use rPET to create the bottle of our Ultra Gentle Body Wash!
If you're not familiar, using rPET is an effective way of helping Mother Nature because:
rPET is 100% recyclable, lessening the need to produce Virgin PET
rPET is made from recycled materials, reducing the amount of plastics in landfills or the ocean
rPET requires 79% less energy to produce compared to Virgin PET, because it lessens need to extract natural resources
rPET reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 71%, because it's lightweight and easy to transport
Have peace of mind knowing that whenever you buy our Ultra Gentle Body Wash, you're helping Mother Nature too 🌴
A quick heads up: tiny (harmless) black spots may appear on our rPET bottles because not all foreign particles can be filtered at 100%. Don't worry, they don't alter our naturally soothing products in any way––it just means we used recycled materials to package them!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this body wash safe for my skin condition?
Yes! While no product is a perfect fit for everybody, the ingredients in this body wash have been carefully selected to provide an effective cleanse for even the most sensitive skin types (including babies and kids) and those with skin conditions including Eczema, Dermatitis, Psoriasis, Rosacea and more. Our products are dermatologically tested and certified safe for sensitive skin. That said, we strongly advise those with a history of skin reactions to start slow and test any new product before deciding whether it is suitable for their needs.
What are soapberries?
Soapberries, AKA soap nuts, are Mother Nature's soap alternative (she has one for everything)! These powerhouse fruits come from trees and shrubs in the Sapindus genus and are packed with saponin, a natural surfactant that gently cleanses your skin without stripping it dry and killing healthy bacteria. They’ve been used by people around the world for thousands of years—long before soap was ever invented! They are an eco-friendly alternative to harsh chemicals and the secret sauce in many of our luxurious, naturally sudsy products.
Are your products organic?
While our products are not certified organic, we strive to use organic ingredients wherever possible and source sustainably. All organic and non-organic ingredients alike meet the highest quality and safety standards. Our soapberries are wild-grown and harvested in Taiwan, meaning they can’t be certified organic but are as clean and natural as can be. We only use 100% natural essential oils for our products with fragrance.
Are your products ethically sourced?
Absolutely! All of our products are Peta Approved cruelty-free and vegan. We strive to maintain visibility over our entire supply chain and only work with suppliers, manufacturers and partners that share our values around protecting both people and the planet.
Made with Mother Nature's finest natural ingredients
Your skin deserves the best, which is why we constantly scour the globe for the most effective and gentle natural ingredients and painstakingly combine them into formulas that truly work for both people and the planet. Here are some of the botanical superstars that make this body wash so special:
